Our coast is home to a vast amount of marine life. Take in the rugged beauty of the coastline and views of the ocean while we see what we can see. Gray Whales and Orcas are a common sighting during their migration along the pacific rim. Sea lions, sea otters and seals are in abundance, as well as black bears and a variety of sea birds.

Hot Springs Cove Tours
A stunning, 27 nautical miles scenic boat ride from the Tofino Harbour to Hot Spring Cove. There you will embark on a 2km hike through Maquinna Park, on a board walk trail to the natural, geothermic hot springs. Soak in one of the successional pools and relax under the naturally heated waterfall before hiking back and returning to Tofino.

Meet the Captain
Captain Nathan Driver is a life long local of Tofino B.C. who has grown up with a passion for boating and fishing all through these coastal waters of west coast Vancouver Island.
Our Name & What it Means
Čaʔak is a Nuu-Chah-Nulth word, pronounced CHA ' AK. It means "land surrounded by water, like an Island". Translated, our name means Island Charters. Čaʔak Charters is an indigenous owned business and operates in the unceded territories of the Five Nations who are the Tla'oqiaht, Ahousaht, Ehattesaht, Mowachaht/Muchalaht and Hesquiaht First Nations.
